Join the 5th annual Fermentation Festival on Sunday, August 27th from 10am-4pm at the Boston Public Market! Like previous Fermentation Fests, this year will be a *free* tour de fermentation composed of dozens of speakers, demos, fermented drinks (read as alcoholic!), scientists and authors. Plus there will be a Makers Marketplace which represents the growing small business fermentation community where you can sample fermented foods & drink.
One centerpiece of the fest will be the free communal crowd-sourced #KrautMob (sponsored by Boston Organics, Maitland Mountain Farm, Marblehead Salt and Soluna Garden Farm) where everyone will be invited to make sauerkraut together under the guidance of local Kraut Mobsters (read as: fermentation experts).
RSVP to the festival on facebook and learn about previous festival years here.
To volunteer at the festival, email Boston Ferments! The fest is largely staffed & run by volunteers – if that is you, thank you! To get involved in any way (as a vendor, speaker, sampler or anything else) please email Boston Ferments!
