Join the NH Food Alliance for our summer Network Gathering at Fresh Start Farms in Dunbarton, NH which is part of a cooperative CSA program. We’ll tour their farm and hear from the farmers and Mukhtar Idhow, Exectuve Director of the Organization for Refugee and Immigrant Success (ORIS). After the tour, we’ll have time for questions, updates from throughout New Hampshire’s Food System, networking, and local ice cream!
Fresh Start Farms is a local food aggregate consisting of refugee and immigrant farmers located in New Hampshire. Fresh Start Farms was initiated as an economic capacity building project by ORIS to support new Americans aspiring to start sustainable farm businesses consistent with their cultures, lifestyles, and personal ambitions.
