Maine communities recognize the importance of profitable farms and fisheries to their cultural heritage, ecology and economy.
The Vibrant Communities Council will begin in February 2017 and will begin to define priority actions for the connection of communities and food production that link to the Framework actions, and those that support the MFS network values. FMI , contact us here.
- The Council is looking at current marketing for Maine products, and how commodities and small grocery stores can increase efforts and best practices to showcase and increase purchases of Maine products at outlets.
